Phased 45 degree functional porting add-on service by Wright Armory

This is an add-on option for the Wicked Compensator movie replica closed port John Wick compensator. This service will convert the non-functional ports of the movie clone compensator into six functional 45 degree phased ports that will compensate for recoil and add functionality to the compensator. This service is performed in partnership with Wright Armory in Mesa, AZ on a CNC machine. This service will be performed at the time of purchase and your compensator will be sent for anodizing after the ports have been machined open. 

The first set of ports are directly in-line with the threaded crown of the P30L-SD barrel and cannot be opened up for porting. The forward six port are all converted to functional outlets for the gasses to help mitigate recoil; the ports increase in size as your get near the compensator's reverse crown muzzle. The ports are machined 45 degrees off the top centerline of the pistol. Once the compensator has been ported, the pistol must have the recoil spring swapped out from the factory 17lb red spring, to our included high-carbon reduced weight recoil spring, or the pistol will experience cycling issues. Both the factory red spring, and our high carbon reduced weight spring will need to be broken in and take set by shooting 500 rounds of 124 grain NATO spec 9mm through the gun before the Wicked Compensator will run without issues. 

All compensator orders, regardless of having this porting service performed, will need to be sent out for anodizing after purchase. Comps are being sold in batches of 50, and all 50 will need to be sold before any will go out for porting services or anodizing. DeFender Automatics will keep all owners informed of the timeframe and delivery estimates as we sell through the limited inventory, but understand that delivery could be as long as 3 months+ from time of purchase as we need to work with 2 separate vendors schedules in 2 different states. We will do everything possible to inform our customers of the delivery dates should they change.
