1967/68/69 Camaro 3pc DeFender vinyl fender cover set

Made from 110 gauge expanded and textured PVC vinyl, this 3 piece mechanics fender cover set is designed to cover the header panel as well as the entire length of the passenger and driver’s side fenders, with provisional clearances at the hood hinges and latch, fender braces, and rubber stoppers. For cars equipped with a passenger front antenna, the right side of the fender cover is hot-stamped with a cutting template to allow the antenna to pass through the DeFender at the correct factory location. The engine bay seams ensure a solid grip, hugging the full length of the sheet metal from the cowl panel to front header, while ridges sewn into both sides of the full length of the covers provide tool retention. Tying the right and left DeFenders together is the header panel nose cover. This lies along the front of the car, clearing the hood latch and protecting the grille, headlights, and lower valance from scratches and impacts. The header panel goes on before the DeFenders and Velcro attaches the three covers in place on overlaps.
All DeFenders Auto Covers are triple top-stitched by hand with contrasting stitch to binding colors. Custom logo printing is available for an extra fee.

Installation:

For initial installation, unroll the covers on a clean surface and allow them to sit in the sun to settle into shape after shipping. Open the hood. Begin by laying the header panel cover over the front end of the car, and set the lip of the cover over the back of the panel toward the hood latch. Lay each DeFender over each fender and secure to header panel via velcro panels at the front top and sides. Roll out any wrinkles as the cover takes its set shape and adjust as needed until the cover hugs the front fenders exactly as designed. If adjustments are needed, lift and replace rather than slide the cover to avoid the possibility prematurely wearing the paint.
